Just a short apology for how behind these pulley parties have taken the e-mails! I will be spending the next week or so catching back up with e-mails and phone messages.

Atlanta was a blast - but I got a summertime cold! I don't get sick very often, and I forgot how miserable a cold can be (chills/sweat/chills/sweat ). Now I feel well enough to at least start answering calls and getting e-mails returned.

There aren't any more pulley parties until late October or November, so I won't have any problems keeping up now. Once caught up, I can start doing some more development work as well. We just finished yet another head design with 2mm larger valves and much more efficeint exhaust porting and it will be under $2000. I still don't think there is a ton of horsepower there, but of the heads, it looks like this one may be the best. We are also finalizing a new exhaust design, and will also be testing the UUC by the end of the week. The Milltek header should be here soon as well - along with a mild steel header that may prove to be as good numbers wise at a much lower cost. Cryo testing is ongoing, and we have just finished the newest ECU programming from Powerchip Group - a specific MINI-Motorsport version that incorporates some trick stuff no one else has. We developed that while I was in Santa Monica during a 9 hour test session with real time rolling road test data using several different maps. We refined it in Denver and again in Atlanta for the newest version of MINI software. Anyway, you get the point - more cool stuff can be tested again.

Thanks for everyone's amazing patience as the one man road show has been out and about.

Randy

Good to hear you're still alive Randy.
I'm geeked to see how the Powerchips stuff pans out (I get my new MCS in October!)

I think there's a correlation between Pulley Parties and you getting sick! You were under the weather in Cinci too. Perhaps it's too much Guiness and partying and transvestites and such.

Glad you're back!
Ryan

Welcome home Randy!

I'm still luvin' the pulley you installed on my MCS in Cincinnati. I'm gonna need surgery soon to wipe that friggin' ear to ear grin off my mug that occurs every time I start the car.

Randy,

What a good feeling it is coming home to DIA eh? The Rockies looming large to the west. My Mini is still on order, but I already appreciate your expertise, sharing nature, and dedication to MINI entusiasts everywhere!

Give some Arapahoe HS kid a hard time for me..lol (My graduating HS)

Randy my pulley is working fine and still screaming like the test drive we took. Now for those H-Springs and talk about the new upgrade to the ECU. Different then the Evo-Tech version. Cost?? Give me a call when you get caught up. No hurry. Thanks Bruce Ft.Lauderdale EB/B Cooper "S" in case you forgot. Co-Founder of the original Pulley Party !!!

Did I read this thread correctly, I thought I saw a Powerchip ECU Mod?
Were there any dyno runs with this jewel? What about the development dyno graphs?

Randy welcome back

Welcome back Randy
Hope you feel better soon, I'm just getting over a summer cold so I know what you're feelin. I've only had my car 2 months and I have over 8.5k on it now no thanks to you I can't stay out of the thing. And it's about to get worse since I was with you on one of you Power chip test runs. I'm sold! First, I'm waiting for the H-Sport Springs(see e-mail) soon after the chip. I hope you're coming back to SoCali in Oct for your next Pully Mod Tour.

Rest up Randy, we need you in good health for the Boston Pully Party. I'm making the trek down from Montreal for this. What's the difference between the evotech and powerchip ECU? I'm getting ancy.

take care

Randy-Do you actually have the UUC in your hands? Rob e-mailed me last week and said availability was still approximately 20 days off.
