I found this in an article but can someone verify it

This was said about the factory car

Building on the already highly agile nature of the second-generation Cooper S, its MacPherson strut front and multilink rear suspension has been heavily retuned, with firmer bushings, springs and dampers, together with more resilient stabilizers and a lower ride height.

I realize it does not come with the current JCW suspension but does it come with its own custom suspension that differs from the regular R56.

I especially like the part about the lower ride height

I am afraid the article from the geneva auto show just got it wrong and it comes with the stock R56 suspension or regular sport suspension that does not change ride height.

What have you guys heard

 

As far as I'm aware it comes with the bone stock suspension as standard. The sports suspension and JCW suspension are both available to add as an option.
