So I bought a new MINI this past Monday and while the dealer was filling out the paperwork my sales guy goes "Hey is that your Jeep outside" Long story short he got a MINI stuck out in the back lot of the dealership while showing it to a customer. He wants me to help pull him out before the boss finds out So we hop into the Jeep and head back. Nothing much in Jeep terms but the Cooper was fawked He says he got distracted and landed the car in the middle of the snow bank bottoming it out. So out comes the winch cable and in under a 5 minutes the MINI was out of the snow pile. I got a free lesson on how to use the eye bolts that come with the car.

I've always got the dealer to include something. First Mini = free tint. Second Mini = free floor mats. I didn't even need a winch.

 

If the Jeep hadn't been around, would roadside assistance have covered this?

 

Honestly I don't know if it would cause the Mini in question wasn't purchased so who's account would RA bill? But if you are wondering for yourself, I would have to say probably not either. Isn't RA just designed to help you out on manufacturer defect issues and stuff? Getting stuck is not a defect on Mini's part.
Either way it was just bottomed out on some snow a few people pushing from the back could have gotten it out with no problems I would think.

You're kidding, right? When I ordered my '07, pre-release, I was uttering the words "carpet floor mats" and my MA said, "Oh, I'll throw those in free." Wonderful guy--too bad he defected to Saturn.
