Ok, it won't make the sunroof bigger, but I'm thinking if the little black flaps that raise on the front of the sunroof (to deflect wind)- if those could be disengaged to remain flat, wouldn't that allow the driver to see more out of the opened sunroof? It's probably not practical (holding them down caused about the same amount of noise as with them up, just a different kind of noise), but you never know.
Those flaps there are for turbulence. I've heard of one back in 03 that actually ripped from the hinges from having the moonroof open at high speeds (130+) with those flaps down. And you wouldnt think that this would happen either....that's my moonroof btw...lol https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...light=moonroof
Wow, UK that was crazy. I am assuming you have not had that problem with the new one...
No...the replacement has been cool. But the dealership did a real crappy job of aligning it cause there is not a level cross section from the front to back glass. Plus, when it rains REAL HARD it leaks. Luckily I dont have an interior...

Isn't the flap there to keep the air moving over the car from sucking you & the car up into the air at speed?
