R50/53 steering heavy

steering heavy

sao this morning on my way to school my steering wheels became hard to turn, mostly to the left. everything else is fine, any idea what the problem is?

Year? Could be the powersteering pump burned out. Others with more knowledge can tell you about the power steering fan and what it connects to.

The year is important because MINI has made changes to the system due to issues with the early ones.
