I put in the drop in filter from K&N into my MCS.
I had no fitment issues, and once I got the battery terminal off,
I did not even need to unclamp the rubber hose.

I was not expecting any improvement over stock, but
the car breathes better between 4-7K rpms as the revs
climb up higher.

Maybe my stock filter was dirty after 7k miles.

Happy customer of minicooperparts.com, quick delivery too.

Now you tell me
I spent a good chunk of time how to get that battery terminal off the box.

Did you have a zip tie there as well?
