Detroit Tuned Update!
Hello Everyone!
2007 was a great year for Detroit Tuned and 2008 is already busy for us! We have been working hard on building our very fancy new online ordering system. It is getting very close to launching. I am sure you will all like the new look of the website! We continue to add new products to our stock, so if you do not see it on our old web site, give us a call. We carry everything. See some new products below.
We have been working on a few new products for everyone. We have stainless steel brake lines for all R56 cars and a new two-piece lightweight rotor for our big brake kit. The rotors will cut out a lot of weight, but is going to make the kit go up in price. The last of the lower costs kits are on the shelf right now and we will not be stocking them once they are gone.
Once of the greatest selling items this year has been the Volt exhaust systems. We predicted they would be sold out around the first of the year. Today we only have 7 left in stock. Once they are gone they are gone. No more will be produced. So if you had thought about this system, this may be your last chance. You can read all about it here and here as well as customer views here, here, and here. You can have this system to your house for normally under $500 w/ hardware. That is a great deal! Also, as anyone that has placed an order with us with the last month or so will know, we have been sending out free items with every order that includes a great looking key chain! It’s a great looking blue tag with our logo in white print. Right now we are sending Meguiar’s car wash samples, when they run out we will find something else to include. We try to make sure you get all you can for your dollar! From now, till sold out, we will include a free DT pint glass with every Volt system! We also include them as a gift with purchase of our brake kit.
We are planning our trips for the summer and the Dragon is always our first stop of the year. We will also be doing MINI’s Great Lakes Crossing Tour on September 18th – 21st 2008. This year’s route will be around Lake Erie with a big day stop at Niagara Falls and a stop in Cleveland at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Michigan MINI Club encourages everyone to come join us or just send a donation as this trip is to benefit Make-A-Wish. Watch for donation containers at the Dragon for spare change and dollar bills! 100% goes to charity and we need to break our record of 10 thousand dollars! DT also wants to get out to the west coast again to see all our western customers. AMVIV was just not in the budget for this year as much as we wanted to go, but we have our hopes set on the Magical MINI Mystery Tour. Any other event we should go to? If so send us an e-mail!
