Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone has heard of a solution to the wind noise that comes from an open sun roof.

I had added a plastic wind-deflector to my old car's (happened to be a Volkswagen) sunroof which seemed to cut down on the noise substantially and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for finding a similar part for our new mini.

Any help greatly appreciated.

What year is your car? The reason why I ask is because I have an '03 and it has wind deflectors on the sunroof. Is it possible that earlier cars don't have these?

VentShade makes a wind deflector and can be purchased or ordered from your local auto parts emporium for about $25.00. It only helps a small bit though, because of the huge size of the opening. A lot of the noise is created by the wind hitting the two panes of glass behind your head. Good luck!
