OK, Our MINI is at the dealer. This is to be my wife's first new car, and she has already named it: Ruby Waters! She is a Chilli Red with white top MINI cooper with the sports package, and the multifunction wheel. My wife Named her Ruby because that is my wife would be **** name. Ruby, her first pets name, and Waters, the name of the street she grew up on. No my wife is not a **** star, but this is supposedly how they get their names, so Ruby and the Red MINI went together for what we think is a great flash name...

Anyhow, any pointer for what to look for when we go to pick her up? She arrived in Peabody Mass Saturday, and the Finance Lady is on Vaca until Wednesday, so the wait is killing us. We don't even want to go look at her because seeing and not being able to take her home would make it worse.

Now here is the tricky part... We live in RI and the dealer is in MA so we have to take plates off her car and use them to drive the new one home. We then have 72 hours to go get the car registered.... There are no temporary plates that can be issued to this car because it is new, and bought out of state. Very confusing, but we will make it work....

Long story short... I wanted to share my excitement with people who will understand... We are very excited to bring her home, and the confusion with plates will be worth it, just make it a bit confusing....

Ben, we definitely do understand! BTW, interesting way to pick a name! Hey, I haven't named my MINI yet! Maybe.................nah.

OK, So I have a way to pick it up now... if the wife can leave work 1 hour early it save me driving to the dealer twice because she can just go with me, but if not we get to drive the new MINI back and forth twice, not a big deal....


Anyway we are preapproved with USAA for a loan with 4.99%. We are going to apply for the MINI loan also. What percent have people been getting on the loan from MINI itself? We are going to do it for 5 years. Anybody willing to share their apr with me so I know if I should even bother trying?
