This Sunday, February 17, we will make a run to the Valley of Fire. We are doing something a little different this time, and going on an afternoon run, leaving at 1:00 pm. We will meet on the fourth floor of the parking garage of the Imperial Palace Hotel. We will be joined by some Motoring Advisors and Service Advisors from dealerships back east that are staying at the hotel and are in town for training on the new Clubman model. We will need to have "shotgun" seats for several of our guests. The run map is here. After the run, we will go to the Gordon Beirsch Brewery at 3987 Paradise Rd., Las Vegas, for dinner. People will probably also drink some beer. ;-)

For this month's Motor In, we will be stopping by Motorcars of Las Vegas at 9500 S. Eastern Ave. We will meet at 6:00 pm and look at a variety of high end automobiles including Lamborghinis and Ferraris. We will then go across Eastern Ave. to the Tbird Lounge and Restaurant, at 9465 S. Eastern Ave at approximately 6:45 for dinner.

Will we have to pay a Lake Mead NPS entry fee?

 

We'll have to pay the State Park entrance fee. I think its $6 or $7. Valley of Fire is a State Park. We will drive back through the Lake Mead National Recreation Area (Federal), but there isn't a pay station on the way we are going.
