We stopped by IA on Saturday afternoon, they have two clubmans (clubmen?) there. It was snowing so we didn't get to look too close, but just poking around, opening the doors, etc, we both really liked the layout of the car.

They have a 'release' party on Saturday. Not sure of the times, though.

 

just saw them at the Chicago AutoShow on SAT. they look pretty cool up close. The Hot Chocolate looks a lot better in person

they're having a release party at Patrick MINI between 3-6pm on SAT.

 

I'm not sure how International Autos can have a release party when they don't invite anyone. Has anyone gotten anything official?

I'd love to come down to the Patrick party, but not sure if that is going to be feasible for me....

 

The salesguy mentioned that every MINI owner should have gotten an invitation, but we told him we didn't get one, and we've bought TWO minis in the last 13 months!

 

I'll probably get mine next week Monday... That seems to be the way it works for International...

If anyone does get the invite before this weekend, please post specifics...

Anyone make it out for the test ride? We only could take the auto for the test but it was the S. The paddle shift worked alot better than I thought it would. Still a very fun car to drive the friend had come with me said yep thats a ticket in town!

 

we were there, but it got to be past nap time for our two year old so we left without taking a test drive. Overall, we liked the car quite a bit. We'll probably hold off about a year before we do anything, though.
