Driver-Side Wiper - Scoop?

I just replaced the wiper blades on my Coop, and realized that the little scoop on the driver-side wiper will no longer be there. Now... I really dunno what that little puppy is for, but it did throw off the look of it when in use.

Anyone know what the heck it's for? And if I can get it on the new blade?

it's there to help keep it tight on the glass at highway speeds.

Why isn't there one on the passenger side? If there is supposed to be one, is there anywhere I could get one for the passenger side?

And is there any way to get that little scoop onto my new blade?

From: Washington. No, the other one.
Just get yourself a nice pair of Bosch 'Icon' wipers. They have the areodynamic shape built in so you get high speed downforce on both sides. And coming from someone from "It-rains-all-the-time" western Washington, trust me, I've tried them all...

Damn. I already got some blades from Shucks. I guess I'll bookmark that page and try to remember them when I am in the market again.

Thanks!
