MINI ownership for one year...yesterday was it for me...I know that there are others before me...
Born June 18th...delivered July 18th...17,000 miles later and I still love this car!

Congrats to all of you.
My baby will be only 6 months old on Aug.10 but we often celebrate half year birthdays at my house so why not enjoy twice as often. Time to do more Mods! Lets celebrate. Where is that JCW kit I was hiding for a rainy day???

Zippy was a year old 2 Jun....so why does it feel like it's only been a month or so? Seems like there should still be that "new car smell," but I guess it doesn't usually last 16K miles. I was just thinking yesterday how glad I am about the lucky chain of events that actually brought this car to the U.S. I love this car! I STILL think of reasons to go to the store (etc) so I can get back out and drive it....hmm, where'd I leave that shopping list?

I joined the one year club on July 22nd this year with my MCS. 8500 miles, and I had the dealer do the oil service, change out the coolant tank (I am not really sure it was leaking, but they changed it anyway with a coolant flush and fill), fixed a vibrating center vent on the dash, and a small piece of trim molding. This was was first and only visit to the dealer for service! I am also another MCS owner that loves this car as much today as when I first bought it! For anyone thinking of getting this car, don't let some of these posts upset you, it is a great car!
P.S. It was cool getting an email from MINI USA on the one year birthday, to tell me to give my car some TLC with a fresh coat of wax and a wash "behind the mirrors."

A year old on 6/13 and had over 30,000 miles on her at that time (now pushing 33,600).
No major faults that I can find.

Took Delivery 8/30/02... will have over 24k by the date! 
and start the mods... New R-90's are on the way along with the euro-tray. Next up, springs and sway bar, then the intake, then the serious stuff... pulley, ecu, exhaust...

Delivered August 6. 10,000 miles in the first 50 days.... 31,000 total so far. I'll be pushing 40,000 by the end of September. 3 year warranty only lasting a year and half... oh well. Hopefully I'll get all the bugs worked out by then. (New Tranny, Clutch, 6 attempts on the airbag light)
