Are there any Mini drivers in or around the Colorado Springs area? I am looking for people to motor with on the weekends.

 

Here is what we suggest:

POST a new thread in the MINI5280 and Rocky Mtn Forums. Just indicate that you are wanting to organize a ride, and post details. People will come ouot of the woodwork for you. A lot of us have 'pent up ride anxiety' by now and are looking for something to do.

Then contact Chuck Maybee, President of MINI5280. HE is MINIMAYBEE here in NAM, send him a PM. Ask him to POST the event in the MINI5280 Calendar right here in NAM, and he will do so.

Very easy. If you need help with logistics, write to me here, to immediate Past President Rick Gonzales (Pauhana here in NAM) or Chuck...we will all help you get something going. We have done every conceivable route in Colorado in the last 5 years, and many are worth doing again, no matter where you want to start and go.

I guess my first post was a little vague. I am more than willing to organize a drive or any other event, however in the immediate future I am looking for anyone who drives a classic who lives in the Springs area. I really need to get my carb tuned and ready for this high altitude driving. After that, I will be able to drive up to Denver for a meeting or two . Thanks again.
