The GP rear interior on an S JCW--finished

So ive been hassling the GP owners about the possibility of installing the GP rear interior on a Cooper S(JCW) as an option as a rear seat delete. After minor twist and turns, i give you the final product

The GP parts came in and were installed today with little or no fuss at Mini of Charleston(once again, best Mini service...ever)

The cargo container had to be cut and molded a bit to fit around the seatbelt hooks at the base of what used to be the seats.

So here is what the process kind of looked like and the finished product at the end(the cargo bar was left out in the beginning because of the ungodly price)

And there you have it, a wonderful, albeit very expensive way to do a rear seat delete. Now i just have to find a good way to re-install my rear speakers...any suggestions?

Damn that is nice. It would be even nicer if the red was black. It would match with your exterior color more. How much did all this cost you ??

If you're not going to install the rear bar I'd put a set of aftermarket speakers in the openings for that bar.

that's the basic plan, but seems like any 6x9 is going to rattle the panels but that place would be best, even if it meant carving around those holes(using them) as a basic spot

it was about 1700 in parts, so i gave up the rights to my first born's name. I guess its to be Clubman...sort of a nice ring to it.
