During the Friday evening "Meet the MINIacs Mixer" at AMVIV this year, once again, there will be a photography/art show.

The Sin City MINI Club will provide each entrant with a single piece of 20x30 foamcore board for you to display any combination of pictures you wish.

These will be mounted on the walls of the mixer room during the mixer for everyone to see. We ask that you spend some time (20-30 mins or so) by your display during the mixer so that people can ask you about your pictures, how you got that cool effect, where you took that, etc.

After the mixer, the pictures will be removed and returned to the owners or held at the SCMC booth for pickup during Saturday's Boot N Bonnet Show.
This thread IS TO SIGN UP. Please try not to post commentary in here, we can start a commentary thread about this in either the photography forum or in the AMVIV forum if necessary.

Please post here if you want to take part, so we know how many boards and how much space we'll need.

Agro, have you tried asking last year's participants to do it again?

 

Not directly, that's a good idea. Although, not having to set it up has its appeal too.

Guidelines are that your pics should be MINI related. Any size you want as long as they fit on a 20x30 board. We had at least 1 entry last year that 1 one big, beautiful picture on a board. If you want to have a bunch of 6x4 pics on your board, that's up to you. It's a show, not any kind of contest, so the guidelines are pretty relaxed.

Agro, I may, but given I'm out of town M-F every week until AMVIV, I can't guarantee I'll have time to print some out...

 

You get 1 board. Whatever you can fit on it gets shown.

 

sheesh I wish I could participate this year. as of right now I can't but I will see what I can do. My luggage will be pushing limitations as it is :P

 

Em...you could always mail pictures to me and I'd bring them to Palace for you. I'm just saying...

 

I have to be able to print them...that's the problem. But I may have my stuff from storage veeeery soon. Then I might be ok :D
