I'm currently located in the Aviano area. I was looking to try and pick up a Euro Parcel Shelf before I head back to the states. When I visited the BMW dealership (Brino Bet) in Pordenone, the service manager told me he knew of the part, but that they could only order what was in the catalog. Unfortunately, the parcel shelf is not in the catalog. Does anybody know where you can pick one up here in Europe (preferably in my area )?

 

What exactly is a parcel shelf?

 

its a shelf that mounts under the driver side of the dash but clears your knees. commonly found for the 1st gen MINIs, and i wish they had them for the r56s.

 

Local dealer should be able to do it. Here are the part numbers -- well, for a 2006 / R53, at least.

Some restrictions may apply. Your mileage will vary. Etc., etc.

 

I assume that there isn't a parcel shelf available for an R56 ...

 

That may explain it. I've been looking for one, too, for an '08 I ordered. Found one for the R53, but not the R56.

If anyone finds the definitive answer to this, would you please post here?
