New Speed Camera in Germany!

BEWARE OF ALL THE HIDDEN CAMERAS!!!!

FYI
This is the latest version of German Radar cameras. They can take
pictures in a 360 degree angle and can cover 6 lanes on each side at
once. The cameras are infra red type so no flash will go off. They also
function at night or dark hours. The Pictures they take of your car,
your license plate and the driver are excellent. You may advise your
friends that all major cities in Germany are presently buying them. They
are 250.000 Euro each, but the communities will get their money worth
within a very short period of time. Wiesbaden has 2 of them so far. I
don't know about Mannheim. But if you happen to see one of those. Hit
your brakes. Go ahead and pass this on at your convenience. Henry

Interesting.

I'm sure the US will be purchasing them up really soon. Virginia will surely be the first state in line to want to install them at every street, blvd., lane, and court (yes, court to catch you all doing the donut thing).

Leave it to those crafty German's to come up with this idea. How long before we see it in America ? Not long, I would bet.

And people have this perception there are no speed limits in Germany. Even some stretches of Autobahn have speed limits. And rumor is, there is a movement to restrict speeds on all sections of the Autobahn.

Just in case I might get back there some day, I rrrrrrrreally hope that doesn't happen.

Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, but in America, they'll have to figure out a way to hang them up high. Otherwise, our... ummmmm... inventive countrymen will find ways to steal or disable them.
