Removing Gauge Trim Rings ??

Greetings All,
I am removing the CHROME trim rings from all the gages, a/c vents and cup holders. I want to DE-chrome the interior and paint the rings, probably body color.
Here's the question....... I have all of them removed except the ring on the Tach. It's on there much tighter than the Speedo and others. Is it removable like the others????? I don't want to break it!

Thanks,

Removing tach ring

Try following these directions: http://www.cockpitspecialties.com/instructions.pdf

I traded my silver tach ring for another member's chrome ring. Fairly simple switch out process where you need to take off the tach and open up the tach to get access to the ring. Good luck.

Thanks!
I was hoping that the tach trim ring would come off as easy as the others, but I guess a little procedure to remove it isn't too bad.

And Thanks for the comments on the 356. here are a couple of pics:

Those floor mats are totally outrageous!! A really wonderful accent to the red leather.

the photo links died before I got a chance to see them. oh well. Is the tub a super 90? EDIT: I read your sig and answered the question. It's an A. Super 90s were introduced with the B's. Very cool car. A buddy of mine had a pale yellow B. Wish I had been old enough to buy his and store it away until now.
