Looks great! I need to find brake ducts for the aero bumper. Might just have someone mold a set for me...

I like the seats! Like mine, yours look better in pairs! But now that you have non-reclining or folding seats, you might as well remove the rears to save some weight, as I did. A little more road noise, but when you've got seats like that, you better not give a poop about road noise!!

I always loved your car. The drop and the wheels made for a simple but beautfull look. Now with the seats and the ducts its even more sexier. !!

BTW. How much did you pay for the ducts ?

Thats a non areo grill right? Those break ducts are awesome! I didn't get the fog lights on my car and I have been thinking of something to put in that wasted area. Give us some info about them please.

Chris,

I'm not sure about Chris's setup although I am pretty sure it's what I had used on a 996 - steel side rails which you see the Recaro name on, manual sliders, and then a Mini-specific adapter bracket.

If you mean the "elephant ear" seats by the Porsche GT3's, yes, the bracketry would be the same. In fact, if you were to repurpose those seats and didn't keep the Porsche-specific hardware fittings, i.e. you only used the seat portion, the hardware is worth a lot of $$$ to sell separately because the generic Recaro pieces don't put the seats at the right level in a 996. I have firsthand experience with the standard Recaro setup and with the Porsche specific arrangement. With the generic setup I had to add a 1" seat pad to sit right and it still wasn't at a comfortable angle.

The bracket will work with any seats. The GT3 seat has the same base design as the pole position, but the upper part is a bit wider. So I don't know if that will fit or not...

I got those floor brackets from speedware motorsports, I do have to modify the seat belt holder to make it fit perfectly. You don't need to modify the factory seat rails at all, the floor bracket will replace it. You need to buy brackets for the floor, sliders, and side mounts to fit the seats in your car. Hope this help!

Yes, that a non-aero front bumper. you can get the same thing from waymotorworks..... and they are fairly easy to install...

You can get the same thing from waymotorworks. They already discontinued the jcm product line already, the web site is already down...
