MINI Dealer Wants to Charge Huge Labor!

I am considering suspension work for my car.I am considering putting Txwerks springs on oem strut/shocks.The dealer wants 1.8 hrs labor per wheel(nearly 8 hrs and over 700$)I have been informed by Texwerks that this is absurd(2-3 hrs tops)I live in Las Vegas. Can ayone steer me to a saving solution.Doing myself is no option-sorry.

Two less expensive options...drive to Phoenix or L.A. and get them installed ...or look up BMW repair shops in your area. Most of them do MINI stuff as well...at least in my experience.

I can give you a few other options too. If you're on the west side of town, I can point you to Kensington Motor Cars near Flamingo & Arville. Phone number is 222-0444, tell Bill that Agro sent you.

If you're on the east side of town, talk to Precision Automotive, phone 456-4911, tell Georgeann that Andrew from the MINI club sent you.

Or, you can come down to Palace Station the last weekend in March for AMVIV and buy your suspension bits from someone who will install them for you. Have a look at www.amviv.com, especially the sponsors page.

Is there an import tuning shop thats reputable in the area? (stupid question I know) Ge the TSW springs and take them to those guys (if they are good) The mini suspension is not complicated, and a good shop will take care installing them correctly.
