Hey guys! got my MINI finally! Two questions?

hey guys! i finally got a Mini. it's 2006 MCSa and i love it!

two questions; how do I attach the cup holder? the previous owner took it off and I can't seem to find a way to put it on :(

is the rear sunroof operational? I thought it tilts at least but I can't find a way to operate it.

thanks! happy motoring!

On the 06 just the front of the sunroof moves.

The cup holder should have two dimples on it, they'll line up with the two screws on the tube next to your radio. You'll need a Torx set (screwdriver ratchet or key) it's likely a #25 might be a #30 you'll need to open the glove box to access the top screw. pull the screw out line it up and tighten them to snug. And you're good to go. (mine has a not suited for wine glasses symbol, just a detail to note, despite the plush interior)

Apply some double sided tape first to help hold the cupholder more steady. It is done at the factory, but since yours was removed, you'll have to apply it yourself

Only the 2007 model MINIs had the rear window tilt up. The first gen are just there.

Mmm hmm. I saw them at the dealership. I also found out their ambient light (our orange light) can change to almost any color you want. Luck 2nd gen owners.

The cupholder is an easy install, but you do need doublestick tape, and maybe some locktite for the screws.

As far as the rear sunroof --have you looked it up in your Owner's Manual?

I Don't know if it's the color, or the angle, but I think that is the first time I thought the 2nd gen looked sharp
