No Spare on MCS, but what about a tire jack?

So my '08 MCS won't have a spare, or a place for a spare, but will it come with a jack?

Not for sure on '08, but my '05 has a jack and tire iron in a bag in the boot.
I imagine they haven't changed the game plan in three years time, but who knows??

The early 2007 MCS' didn't have a jack. I think a lot of people complained because they started including the jack sometime around April 2007. I would be very surprised it the 2008 didn't come with the jack.

The jack in the 07 is under the floor mat in the boot. I would think the 08 would be in the same place.

Tire jack

My week 35 MC S has a jack/tool kit under the carpet in the boot as well. No spare, runflats.

I have used this jack. It is not very good. Suggest getting a used japanese small car scissor jack and putting it in the tool box.

Anyone know of an aftermarket jack that'll fit in the "tool box" (that styrofoam thing back there)

first off... if you get runflat tires you will not get the jack.. u get the tow hook, and a few other small things... i asked my MA if i could get a full kit and he said i could free f charge if i felt i really needed one... but considering that i have no idea how to even change a tire... i don't worry about it... i do know how to change spark plugs tho

My 2008 MCS came with the jack, and I have runflats (no choice with an MCS). No spare tire...but you still need to jack your Mini if something happens to your RF tires.

This wasn't an extra from my dealer or a special order option...an '08 MCS should have the jack included.

That was only with the early '07s. By April build, they were coming with a jack. From the threads here, it seemed like everyone was giving the dealers a lot of grief about not including the jack. Seems that BMW relented and started including it again.

yup! because both of our 07 MCS have jacks. not that we will probably need them because of a lack of spare tire but...its there.
