If you have the money, I'd go H-Sport. It is weighs less than most because it's hollow.
19mm, I think is stock MCS size. or is it 22?
Otherwise, most of the others are the same. Heavy steel, rigid and does what they are designed to do.
I have an Alta 3-hole. It's been great for me.
The only other thing to look at is the number of end-link holes. Three means more adjustableness. Yes I made that word up.
I think there are few out there with a slide-type setup and that will give you the most adjustability. Can't remember names right now. Still recovering from long weekend.
Search and ye shall find.

My H-Sport 19mm is solid. The 22 I believe is hollow. Set on the middle setting, the car rotates very nicely especially at lower speeds. Someone once told me, if the car is going to be stiffened up later (lowering, bracing, other sway bar) go with a smaller bar to begin with. If you're going to do 1 mod and leave it at that, go with the biggest practical bar. My $.02 is that anything over the 22 is overkill on a street car. FWD becomes like RWD, read oversteer.
Don't forget the H&R 19MM rear sway bar (I just ordered one from Turner Motorsport, but they are on ebay too). It's adjustable like the Alta, but has silicone bushings that never need lubrication. Most other designs will need to be greased every 2 or 3 years, I believe.
The Ireland 22mm rear sway bar is hollow and has an infinitely sliding adjustment rather than holes. Just learned about that one a couple of days ago.

I've got the H-sport Comp bar and like it very much... my reasoning:
1. It's light (not that important, but somewhat important)
2. It's adjustable (like many others it has 3 holes - some only have 2 holes)
3. I like the H&R Brand
4. It looks very well made and uses quality hardware (Energy Suspension bushings/brackets)
5. It's the equivalent of a 19-20 mm bar (though it's bigger) because it is hollow. I knew that I was going to lower the car a bit, so I wanted a beefier bar, though I leave it on full-soft most of the time.
6. The bushing brackets have Zerk fittings on 'em so I can re-grease the bushing without removing the bar from the car. I squeeze in a shot of grease every time I rotate the tires and never have a squeek. I don't believe in bushings that don't need grease... I've greased too many 'no-grease' bushings that were squeeking like crazy!

What setting do you use on your 19mm? Have you experimented with the other settings?
I've used all three as it is very easy to change. The softest setting is best for long highway trips and city driving. Middle setting for mixed twisties and highway like a club run somewhere. Stiffest for track days, very spirited canyon carving! I feel that the 22 is to firm for a daily driver unless you've put on firmer springs which lessens the sway bars effect. If I was going any stiffer, probably would get a Webb bar as you can back it way off or about as firm as you want to go. Most the suspension guy's I trust recommend the 19 as it's more neutral and if you want more turn in you should get it from somwhere else ( camber, shocks, springs, etc). Just my 2 cents as opinions vary.
There is more resistance to the change with firmer springs. That said the firmer springs increase handeling too, so there is trade off. When I replaced the springs with TSW springs there was a lessoning of the change made by the sway bar but not in a bad way...
I'm running a 19mm Alta right now, used to have a 22mm, but with the H-Sport springs I found the car to be kind of squirrely, with the 19mm bar, on the softest setting, the transitions are much smoother and more predictible.
I wanted something for the street that would tighten it up some, but not be twitchy, hard to drive in the rain, etc.
I have stock S suspension aside from Alta 19mm RSB. Set on "full stiff" - very happy with results. Only issue I had was I had to re-lube the squeaky bushings. SLight PITA, not worth the extra cash to me that the H-Sport had. I am actually in the middle of adding a set of zerks to a spare set of bushings. (I sometimes enjoy the long road....)
Basically, my mod plan is this: If I have to warn someone about something when I hand them the keys, it's too much. I want my car set up so anyone can hop in, drive fast and not get a nasty surprise.

I went w/ a 19mm bar primarily because the vendor recommended it over anything larger (even though he had larger in stock). He felt that larger was overkill unless you were perhaps building a race car. He felt that 19mm gave a better range form daily street, autocross up to occassional track use.
I've settled on the middle setting w/ my bilstiens and stock springs and the car is dead neutral.

No. The swaybar's effect depends on the displacement of the bottom of the shock from its position at rest as it moves when a force is applied to it (either hitting a bump or weight transfers during a corner. If you have stiffer springs, the same force will cause less of a displacement, so the swaybar will twist less and thus apply a smaller force to the opposite wheel.
there is not a significant performance difference between similar sized bars from different manufacturers. a couple have sliding (infinite) adjustment, some have two holes, others have three. not many track driven MINIs will utilize the adjustment available on the Webb or IE and even fewer street only cars will do so.....some tend to squeak and some don't (even within a given brand). i'm happy with my (insert brand) 19mm sway bar on a track driven car. how many here have had more than one aftermarket sway bar on one MINI? most tend to recommend what they bought. pick your favorite color or support your local vendor.....any one will do if you learn how to drive your car at or near its limits (much harder than installing a sway bar!)
