I was going to get a Blue/White MCS 03 and was putting down my deposit when I noticed a Pepper white/Black Top mini and was so impressed that I just has to wait till the MCS 04 pepper white comes out..Got my order allocation # yesterday and those who have a Pepper White What do you think of the color and would you change it given another chance on choice color ?....Also everyones comments regarding Pepper White will be appreciated..If I'm correct they seem to be the rarest color out there ?..Thanks All !! null

 

How did you go about ordering an 04? I too am looking at trading in my 02 for the PW/B, but on the MINI USA site they are still showing orders for the 03.

Yes you're correct but most dealers have now been alloted their 04 numbers and you can get the production # and as soon as we know whatt is new we can then build the car..Production start is Sept 2nd with delivery first week in October....
What do you think of The Pepper White and Why...I've heard some people say here it is UGLZY...Ahhh !!

 

Pepper White is defintely one of the most beautiful colors for the MINI. When combined with the black roof, it is classy and slightly understaded; the "tuxedo" of MINI's!

but i saw a pepper white in person the other day, and i think its ugly

i think the mini looks good in yellow/black/blue/red/dark grey

I also placed my order for a 04 MCS Yesterday!! and I was told the only changes from the 03 to 04 is the 3 spoke steering wheel, the electric outlet in the boot and the Pepper White color available for the MCS.

My Motoring Advisor said he'll call me next month with a production number and I'm looking at a November delivery.

Isn't it exciting ! I couldn't hardly sleep last night!

I forgot to mention that you have my 2nd choice of colors. I feel the Pepper White with the Black roof is really fine looking. Truely a classy MINI. I'll try to find you some photos of MINIs and I'll post a couple here for you.

I will be getting them from their owner's pages so I can't size them.

Personally, I like the look of contrasting colors between the car and roof, the bright colored car with a white roof or a light colored car with a black roof.

well, then I just thought of how good the total black and total red cars look...
so perhaps all MINIs look good to me.

Thank you my Red MINI friend! When I said I wanted the Union Jack and Aero Kit, the salesman couldn't believe it. When he said the cost of the install labor, I said ok, that's not much added to the total loan. They all got excited that I was buying a Chili Red/White/Stripes and Aero kit MCS because I was the very first person to get an Aero Kit at their Dealership. San Antonio's dealership opened in March.

I've since gotten an e-mail from a guy here in Austin who said I will be the first Aero Kit in Austin,Texas

I've never been the first at anything!

Oh, Flangi, You may be the first Pepper White / Black roof MCS in the USA. I've not heard of another. and I know there is only about 10% of MINI owners who come to the boards, but for sure we'd have heard if the dealer had ordered one. I know when I mentioned it as a new color for 04 to my dealer he said yes, it's new but haven't had an order for one yet.

and for your question about what is a rare color, that's pretty hard to say. I think the BRG/Black combo and the EB/Black combo are the rarest.

For sure your Pepper White / Black MCS will be rare for a while!!!

Pebbles THANKS a million for all your input !!......Seeing the white and all white has now got me confused !!.........It looks great in the picture but not sure how it looks in real person......What looks better in your opinion AND ALSO EVERYONE'S OPINION...White/White or White/Black....It appears that the white/white also has blach mirrors etc..Is that chrome on the white/white what comes from stock or was that added on..Nice touch...Yup can't wait for the MCS 04 white...Hmm now trying to choose the right combo...Again I really appreciate the pics..Very sweet of you !!..later !! :smile:

For me, I like the Pepper White/Black like NFO just posted.
It's the color contrasting roof that appeals to me.

and about Mrs Peel, with her being a Mini Cooper, I believe they have then option for chrome bumpers, etc... so there's more chrome on a Mini than you'll have on a MCS.

if you get the dual sunroof option, i think you have to have a black roof... if you get the white roof and the sunroof, it looks too busy because 80% of the roof is black anyway when you have the sunroof option.


that's why i got chilli red with black. :smile:
