New: RoadsterSound Subwoofer
New: RoadsterSound Subwoofer
We collaborated with RoadsterSound to build this subwoofer enclosure for all 2002+ MINI models. It's a perfect fit, and it tales a 12" sub! Okay, it's a shallow sub, but as I can attest, it doesn't take much to fill a MINI with bass.
The RoadsterSound enclosure is easy to install. It's flat on the bottom, so you can keep your tool/jack stuff if you're an R56 owner. It fits tightly into the existing D-rings in the hatch area, so once mounted, it won't move around.
Drivers that will fit include the Rockford Fosgate P3S, the JL Audio TL5 (which still isn't released, I think?), and the Earthquake SWS 12. We offer a package that includes the Earthquake driver if you don't want to go shopping for speakers.
Here's the box installed in a hardtop car:

Here it is in a convertible:

Here it's pulled out so you can see what it looks like:

Note the amp is mounted in the box on the right.
