help, my ride

getting a choppy ride vibration on curves and at different speeds
noticably at 70, running Pirelli 190 winter tires. Rear end feels harsh
and almost hops on bumps. Could this be anything other than tires?
They probably have 25k miles on them.

I was told they were, had them re-checked but they just seem to get worse,
and a lot noisier than before.

Swapped them from front to rear to see if there's any difference?

Are the lugs fully tightened? I had a problem with that and it was similar to what you described. I'm just glad I didn't loose a wheel.

Check the trailing arm bushings for cracks... check the rear control arms, etc. It's possible that a shock is dead, too.

Are there weird wear patterns on the tread? That could also indicate shock failure as well right?
