You must have some nice parents, kid. Looks like you got a real nice mini. Prior to mine i h4 a 300hp acura integra (lots of mods!), a jeep wrangler (lots of mods), a honda crx (built for street racing-tons of mods), and an acura legend. The mini is hands down my favorite. I hope you enjoy it. Its a hell of a lot of fun to drive, its safe, it handles phenonenally, and its a lotta fun to work on. Take good care of her, alright? If you have any questions these forums hold the answers. If you need advice or anything, feel free to private message me. Happy Motoring!

Are your parents willing to adopt a 30 something year old?

Wow! What an awesome gift from your folks!
Drive safely, and don't be one of those Male 16-25 insurance statistics!!
Congrats!

^ Yeah, you'd be amazed what percentage of the auto claims I handle involve young male drivers.

And having had the keys handed to you, I hope you drive that car as if you had to work hard for it and putting a scratch on it would cause you great financial burden. You're a lot less likely to end up a statistic if you drive it that way.

Remember, there's a long list of people who never lived to be 20 because of an auto accident. You're not invincible.

Lecture over. Happy motoring !

Nice gift and sweet z06 and Lamborghini. A friend of mine has a nice collection with a 1994 callaway corvette (stays outside in Michigan) along with 15 others that reside inside.

Now throw some tint on there.

Congrats on the new wheels!

My first car at 16 was a 1971 MG Midget.

A bit smaller than your MINI, but right up there in personality and handling.

Can't recall ever having so much fun-that is until I got my MINI about 3 years back!

Nice choice.

Now go enjoy yourself.

Keep us posted.

^ It WAS sweet. Most people never have a new vehicle given to them as a gift. Not even a domestic car.

True but his is a JCW MINI. That's worth a ton more than what my xB cost.

But given what else is in his parents' garage, I'd say your dad sacrificed a lot more than his dad.

It's all a matter of perspective, Steph.

Happy Birthday and very nice car indeed! Way better than my first ride. +1 on you being careful, I would hate to see you or your MINI get into trouble.
