Yellow Engine Light on Key Insert

When i insert in the key and tap the start/stop button to access the different features without actually starting the car, the yellow engine light stays light in the speedo. What's that about?

The light goes away once i start the car . I briefly checked the manual and didn't find anything about this particular bizzarro occurrence

What features are you accessing in this manner? This is new to me... I'll have to check it out.

Just stuff like heating, lightning, audio, speedo/tach display that you don't really need to start the engine for to show off. Without your foot on the brake, keep gently tapping the start/stop button.

OOohhh, so it would be like turning the key to ACC with the traditional key system. I thought maybe there were hidden features/settings that I have been missing out on.
