If anyone if suffering from as dash vibration/buzz you might want to check your tach. I had a pretty annoying buzz that I finally traced to that area of the interior.

There are 3 phillips screws holding the tach together. Not the easiest things to get to. A stubby screwdrivers is too big. I finally used a box ratchet with a philiips screwdriver bit inserted to tighten the screws. ( a phillips head right angle ratchet screwdriver would also work ). I went slowly, about a 1/2 turn at a time to avoid overtightening, risking cracking the tach housing.

Worked like a charm...buzz gone and interior quiet now prevails. Hope this helps...

Oh, the joys of a rattling MINI

I had to take my MINI in for service, so I asked them to please fix my rattling headliner. It was there anyway, and I don't have to pay to have it fixed, so why not?

 

Someone needs to get a compilation of all these rattles located and sticky them. Not me im lazy , but one of these days ill try to remedy some of mine. Coming from a car on coilover's I barely notice
