Not Fair

Here it is November and we finally have clear, sunny days. The roads are dry; the air is cold (good for forced induction types...)...

...and no more mini-runs......

...it's just despicable.

Yesterday we drove to Camas in the red MINI to meet some friends for happy hour at Gustavs...it was sort of like a MINI run we got in the road and finish with food and drinks.

Mostly freeway driving though

We drove our red mini to work today in the rain. boooo...

The Audi broke down (alternator) and the black mini still is sitting on worn tires, and I don't feel like aquaplaning.

So, the Santa MINI got wet today.

I had an SKS w/ a modified folding stock, pistol grip and a 50 round mag, 2 -30 rounds and the standard 10 rounder. I liked the 10 rounder the best though, it never jamed and you could use the sweet stripper clips to reload.

All I have now Colt 1991A1 .45ACP. The more modern version of the M1911A1 .45 cal.

I do have a .22cal conversion for the .45 though, makes for cheaper plinking of tragets.

I went to the previous one. Some good stuff, some not good stuff. I like to shop around for my next toy at the show, then buy it at a store somewhere--so the one I get hasn't been handled a thousand times already.

My favorite place at the gun shows are that "Tables of Propoganda" where you can learn the real truth about 9-11 (US Government plot), who the real shooter of JFK (US government plot), UFO's (US govt. plot), why organic food is bad for you (US Govt plot) and why the news lies (ok that one is true). Just a few of the US Government plots that you didn't know of but are paying for with your taxes.

Were we in our Audi? B-cuz the MINIs haven't been out to play in some time.

Or were we walking back to work from Starbucks round lunchtime? I remember spotting a cool MINI and trying to see if it was PDX club car.

JCW- your sig has changed!

Red October was spotted over on Motoring Underground. Some dude (claiming to be) from Poland pulled a pick of your car.

Hey, always nice to be appreciated. :-) There are some cool cars in that thread.

Yeah, the sig changed. I got restless and wanted to fiddle with it. Ended up doing another. It's about my 6th one in 3 years. Since I stepped down from the PDX MINI board, and the moderator job here, I figured I can change my sig, and then start causing trouble.

Congrats JCW Driver! You can even see the "pdxmini.org" sticker!

You and Schooler have two of the finest interpretations of MINI in the club, I think. Well, number 2 and 3 at least... behind the BRGreen beast.
