Performance numbers for Cooper S after Alta upgrades

I haven't yet ordered my MINI, but I'm already looking at possible upgrades. I'm looking at the intercooler, catback exhaust, downpipe and intake from Alta. Has anyone done these upgrades and dyno'd afterwards? I'm just curious as to what kind of torque, hp, etc. I can get out of these for an '07 MCS.

Alta has charts for all their parts on their website. They have also posted these charts over and over again in the Drivetrain forum.

Those are the exact mods that have done now, and am waiting on the ecu....I plan on getting my car dynoed, probably in the coming month(s)....anyway, I definitely like them, car sounds sooo good now and has got some good power, but I need more, and I think(and am hoping) the ecu will put it to the perfect amount.

Are you happy with the bang for the buck for the mods you've done so far? From what I have read, it seems like these mods will give you about as much HP as the JCW kit but for a lot less!

To be fair to the guy, those charts are about as legible and make as much sense to the average Joe as the hieroglyphics on the wall of Tutankahmun's tomb.

Very true! If you ask Adam from ALTA he has no problem clarifying them, however. Thank goodness for their great customer services as in looking at those charts initially I had no idea what was going on.

Exactly, some people just need to realise that to most of the human race a 'Dyno' is the abbreviated version of the word 'Dinosaur' and people in general aren't proficient in the reading of 40 different intertwining torque curves on a graph. If you either can't or are unwilling to help then it's usually best not to say anything at all.

Yep, extremely happy ....very high quality, my car sounds simply amazing now, and has got some good power which is definitely more than the JCW kit....I just can't wait for the ecu upgrade to arrive to really put it over the top.
