Whiper and turn stalk color

Has anyone thought about painting the whiper and turn stalk? I dislike the current color and have been slowly removing that color from surfaces in the vehicle.....anyone thought of this? Done this? Want to do this?

the title needs a spell check....Sorry...I am not thinking lol

Are you referring to the wiper and turn signal control stalks off the steering column? If so, that would be different.

You have all the positions for the dials memorized, right? It would be quite a guessing game for someone later down the road.

This is my reservation about just painting the stalks even though I'd like to make them a bit darker myself. Is there anywhere to get the graphics on them in a white vinyl?

Why white vinyl? Why not hand paint....it cant be that hard...take pictures and then paint.....

I want to get that silver color out of my car...My problem spots will be the airbag ring and the wiper and turn stalks...

LOL someone tell me this can be done so I am justified in painting them lol

Maybe you could get the '07 stalks to fit somehow, those are black.

Does anyone know for sure that those are a completely different attachment? I assume....due to everything else being different...but this is a good call...

Painting them has been done. Someone was even selling a set at one time. Gloss black with a red "S" on them.

I thought I saw someone selling a set like these around the same time, but I could be wrong. Talk to the people in the thread. They will know more than me.

You've obviously never seen my "artistic" skills, suffice it to say I wasn't born with the most steady of hands.
