Guys,

I just installed EBC slotted/dimple rotors, along with greenpads. They work great, however, the driver side brakes a clicking sound, like a piece of paper stock in a fan on every revolution. Is this normal? Have any of you experienced this clicking noise in the beginning? When I brake the sound goes away. Thanks for input.

heard? no. experienced their craptastic parts for myself? yes. Do a search on EBC here on NAM....almost universally bad reviews.

 

Wait, the clicking noise STOPS when you are braking?

If that is the case you either installed something wrong or you have a bad part.

 

yes, the clicking sound stops when the brakes are depressed. I think I'll have to re-assemble the brakes again.

 

These slotted rotors are noisy. I properly bedded the pads tonight. Time will tell. Hopefully mine last longer than 6months.

 

mine warped within months. 2200lb car no less and ALL commuting, no track duty.
