Anybody running Work Wheels?

I've been looking for some new wheels and I really like the Work Emotion XT7 and XD9. Only problem is, they are kinda pricey. If I get those all my other mods will have to wait. Anyone have any experience with the brand. Are they worth it, or should I buy some knockoffs?

Typically, when going with an authentic wheel, the three main things you get are quality, more fitment options, and brand recognition.

There's no denying that Work makes a great wheel, but if you can't justify the coin needed to get a set, go with the knockoffs. Just make sure the knockoff brand is a reputable one.

If you're looking for knockoffs, the closest match to the XD9 is the Rota P1. For the XT7, the Maxxim Grip (made by Konig) is the closest match.

It's all up to you. I buy knockoffs because I don't have the money to spend on the real versions, and knockoffs give me 75% of what I want in the wheel. I'm picking up a set of Konig Heliums for my car next... they are knockoff's of the Volk CE28N.

Quality is definitely more consistent with the authentic brands though, that's something you've gotta watch out for with knockoff wheels.

If you're looking for a set of XD9's, I know of someone selling a set of 16's in bronze, 4x100 bolt pattern. He offered them to me, but I can't afford them.

Thanks. I've seen the Rota before, and I know I can get them for about half the cost. I'll have to look for the Maxxims.

I just bought the Maxxim Grips. I haven't installed them yet, but they look great. They weigh a little more than I would have liked at 20#, but at the price, I couldn't pass them up.
