What to do!?
Would you do the H-Sport springs and Control arms + Brakes
OR
The EVOTech upgrade?
I can do one or the other right now. I'm leaning toward the springs becasue the cost of the EVOTech upgrade will likely go down in the next few months (while I save my pennies)
Thoughts?

The hardware seems like a better bet. Software's always changing and being improved, while it seems like a good set of springs don't get "improved" upon too often. That being said, what do control arms do again?
What brake upgrades are you looking to do? I would tend to agree on waiting for further ECU development...I suspect alot of stuff is going to pop up for the MCS before long in that arena.

I'm mainly just looking to improve braking a bit and get rid of that CURSED BLACK DUST!

The H-Sport springs will increase negative camber (making the wheels/tires squat with the tops in and the bottom/contact patch splayed outward) This causes increased wear on the inner tread and decreased contact with the road. The control arms will bring camber back in an adjustable manner to a more stock setting. They are the best of both worlds, as you can adjust for maximum performance for the track, or maximum longevity for the street.

So just the H-sport springs alone with increase negative camber and with then you need the control arms to bring it back into a more neutral position?

His, Chile RED all over, Madness intake, MINI-Motorsport Airbox Mod, Magnaflow Exhaust, BMP spark plug wires, RDR rear sway bar and Helix P/D 15% reduction pulley.
Hers, EB UJ on top and BONE stock.

You don't "need" the control arms if you like the -2 degrees of negative camber. If you prefer to be closer to stock, then, yes, you need the control arms so that the camber can be adjusted; without them, the camber is not adjustable.

I would suggest the H-sport springs, adjustable rear swaybar, and brake pads (maybe EBC green)
Even without the adjustable control arms (two or four), a good specialty alignment shop will be able to make some adjustments to get the MINI back to factory specs. If you add the adjustable lower rear control arms then it makes it that much easier. After installing the springs alone the negative camber will be about -2.4 degrees in the rear. Stock setting is about -1 to -1.5 degrees.
second choice is the pulley and throttlebody before the EVOtech ECU upgrade for the MCS.
If for the MC then I would get lighter wheels before the ECU upgrade.
