Will they ever bring back Purple Haze?

So, now that I got my new MINI a few weeks ago, my friend who has also wanted on for a long time is now more motivated to get one. Problem is, he really wants Purple Haze. I read on here that Jet Black may be coming back. Has anyone heard anything about Purple haze maybe coming back? It's such a cool color, I imagine it would be so popular.

Purple Haze ended up being one of the least popular colors ever. I doubt it will ever come back.

And that is too bad because it is incredible. I love my wife's PH/Silver Cooper.

I rarely ever come across another Purple Haze. A few weeks ago was the first time I had come across another PH since last year's Dragon.

They may come up with a similar color, but I doubt they would re-release the exact same color.

I would not expect to see Purple Haze come back any time soon, if ever. He can find one out there, though, if that's what he really wants.

About $2500 to paint one purple haze, not including removing the engine for the engine bay.

I think it was one of those colors you had to see in person...when I told people I was getting a purple car, I got some strange looks. Once they saw it, they thought it was beautiful.

I was able to see the color in person before ordering mine. I don't know if I would have gotten it without seeing it on the lot though.

Will they ever bring back Purple Haze? I doubt it, but knowing MINI, be on the lookout for another half-dozen variations of both Silver and Blue...

I currently have a Purple Haze MCSc that I am trading for a PW MCS. I *really* am going to miss the purple color - that is the biggest misgiving I have with the trade. The purple haze is an amazing color! Varies depending on the lighting conditions - spectacular in the sun and dramatic under an overcast sky. And that car is an attention grabber, for sure! I guess I'll be more stealth in my Pepper White.

Let me reassure you. . . PW is CLASSY! Not as dramatic as PH, but very sophisticated (or sporty!) It's like a pair of nice jeans. You can do a lot!

Thanks, Scoopmama. I know that my PW will rock - I'm just sad about giving up my PH. A month from now I'll be in my honeymoon phase with my new PW, I'm sure!

Tru Dat.

The purple tones are the thing I like best about Cool Blue... If PH had been an option when I ordered Blimey, he woulda been purpler... is that a word?

But, nah, they won't bring back that exact color. Just some DIFFERENT purple... that's my bet...

YEAH BABY! I've got one, and I really love the color.

My MINI would not be Hendrix otherwise. Oddly I have another PH / W living less than 2 miles away that I keep hoping to meet. They are never outside when I am driving by. I will meet them sooner or later.
