Doesn't sound like the person was driving an R56, or they just don't know what they are talking about.

Like that the author refers to it as the "most fun car to drive ever."

 

"boxy" ? Maybe she was driving a Honda Element or an xB ?!

Or maybe she hit the "b" key instead of the "f" key.

 

I think she was taken w/ the MINI and apparently, as a tall woman (apparently), found it plenty comfortable...a bit of a contradiction to the sidebar bullet about not being adequate for big folks. Actually, I believe that bullet is meant as a joke...MINIs arent good for steel girders, football teams, or a year's supply of barley either but so what. Fact is, she got it...the odd combination of motoring properties that make MINIs a total and complete delight.

 

I would describe the interior as 'steampunk' rather than 'retro', especially if you have the auto-climate control installed.

 

Confusing until I read "in this sexy convertible model."

Ahhhh.

Someone tell her it's no longer supercharged... and the stereo is a Harmon-Becker/Alpine collaboration.
