JCW spoiler - what color?

I have a HB/W MCS and I'm about to order a JCW spoiler. I'm torn between getting it in white or silver. The CR/W car in the JCW catalog appears to have the silver one, but I wonder how the base of it looks up against the white roof. Any opinions? Pics would really help also.

the one in the catalog has it in carbon fiber w/ silver trims. that's the only way it comes; i don't think it comes in colors. you'd have to paint it if you want it in different colors

OEM colors are black, silver and white (all with CF).

I would go with white. that way it will tie into your car better.

A friend of mine has HB/W with the JCW spoiler in white. Looks pretty rad. I'll see if I can dig up a picture later tonight, but you should be able to find some pictures on the forum.

I would love to get a JCW spoiler, where are you getting it from, and if you don't mind, how much you pay? Cool if you don't want to say though .

He's probably getting it from morristown mini and it's about $400 there.

The white and silver ones are on sale right now from MINI.
They are having a Accessories Special Sale, bulletin #M 08 03 07.

We are selling them for $400 here at Inskip MINI, so make sure your dealer doesn't charge you too much more than that.

Just curious but does the silver match the silver roof of some 06 models?

Also, don't forget the cost of the gun and glue.

I paid a tad under $400 last year just for the wing then around $65 for the gun and $20 for the glue.

Make sure you have an extra set of hands around when you do the install and do plenty of dry runs beforehand. You only get three minutes and one chance to do it right. If memory serves me correct you need eight hours above 62 degrees for proper curing.

I went with black wingtips as I have an AB/AB MC
