Picked up my Indi Blue Mini CVT and love it- after driving a 5 speed toyota with manual windows and doors for 16 years I am still getting used to all the automatic everything!!LOL LOL.
I even got my first thumbs up on my way home from the dealer from some old guy in a red miata!
I do need to get one of these storage things for under the toggle switches-anyone have any opinions on which of these is better? TVA "Hot Pocket" for Mini Cooper or
The Stuff-Box-from Mini-Stuff.com? Thanks for any input

I have had both, and I like the soft 'Hot Pocket' much better.

It's nearly invisible, it doesn't rattle, and it holds things in place.

For the record, I'd do all of those storage things - glove box org, parcel shelf, bonnet saddle bags, boot organizer, on and on and on....

Oh, I see, you really DID mean "power" doors...as in autolocking. Sorry.

I have that feature disabled/not activated. I hate autolocking doors. Now, auto UP windows would be nice (to start that old debate again).

If you want to see more about the MINI's software programmable features, do a thread search on "dealer programmed options"

I like the hard plastic, as it leaves an "out" for my Passport cable. (Eventually It will be hardwired to the clock for power)

Saddle bags and Boot organizer are also welcome addtions.

I also have the Glove box orgainzer THIS IS A MUST!!!! Otherwise you are wasting a lot of space in that glove box.

I don't have the hot pocket of the hard plastic one...
I have a little shelf thingy.
It is just like the one for the glove box, but fits in the "empty" space between the posts.
I really like it a lot, give me two shelves for stuff.
Don't remember where it came from, but I found out about it on this site and got it for my birthday!

I have the same one. I bought mine from Rspeed. It is coated with the same fuzzy material as the inside of the glovebox.

See ya,
JS

I ordered my Hot Pocket and it arrived today.

It looks very good. Solid material.

It's the first thing I'm going to put in my MINI the day I get her.
I have Rx sunglasses, cell phone, etc... that has to have a place in the car.

I am also going to get the Euro Shelf because I like the idea of having my CD case up front with me.

I have the hard plastic one and the glove box organizer. Both are great!

The hard plastic pocket leaves some access around the downtubes for any wires you might have that need to plug into the 12v lighter outlet. The other two 'pocket' items I've seen pics of, but never in person. Both look like they might allow things to spill out in spirited driving. I've never had anything spill out of mine.

I've got most of the storage options: the euro shelf, the glovebox organizer, the console storage armrest, and the hot pocket. Love them all. I like the hot pocket because it's almost unnoticeable and it's quiet. I've got panther black leatherette interior and you can't really tell that the hot pocket isn't designed into the space between the downtubes, it blends in so well.

I made my own hot pocket with the first shelf much lower (flush with the lighter) so that it has a secret hide-away shelf that I can store things out of sight.

Has anyone ordered the new "two shelf" organizer from Moss Mini? It's in their latest catalog right next to the two items being reviewed on this thread.

Wonder how useful the top shelf is.

Thanks.

Regards,
Red
