Classic Mini's at AMVIV
Mine will be here (of course). This year, there were about 15 classics that showed up.
MINIxB, as long as your seats and brakes hold up, you should be ok driving the MINI from MO. Especially if you convoy with some MINIs and bring a few essential spare parts. I drove mine from Cleveland to Vegas with only a suspension problem to deal with. Well, it was a pretty serious suspension problem, but I drove over 1000 miles with that broken rear subframe.

I just can't see driving it. It took me 30hrs in the race car, can't imagine how long it'd take in the classic with no A/C or cruise.

You don't need AC in March, and I don't know the specs of your classic, but mine was happy cruising at 80 the whole trip except for going uphill from Denver to Vail. Indy is a shorter drive than Cleveland.
Does it have anything to do with keeping your beer cold?
You just have to drink faster before it gets too warm
.Going across Texas, it was a one to one ratio, one bottle of beer in me and one bottle of water pour over me.
I was one happy camper when we got to Dallas, maybe that's how I got that tattoo.

Nope, doesn't look like it.
Have to have surgery on my hands.
Just can't keep her on the road right now, too painful.
Going to save her for REME's "Magical Mystery MINI Tour"
in San Francisco this coming Sept and/or MTTS 08'
.
But, I'll be there with Drop, she won Fireball Tin's Best Antenna Thingie Award last year.
It's going to be cool seeing all the classic there.
TTFN & keep your beer cold,
