Help out some Portland State Grad Students by taking a survey.
I was hoping some of you could help me and my classmates out a bit? I am a MBA student at Portland State University in Portland Oregon. We are using "MINI" as a case in branding and our assignment is to use market research to pin down what exactly the MINI brand is. Our case materials are a bit dated and we are going on the assumption that the MINI has just launched in the US. I have linked a survey that we created to try and gather some information about who MINI buyers are and what was important to you in making your MINI purchase. Before I posted I cleared it with your forum moderator. I am not a professional marketer and the information collected in the survey is only for use in our report to the class. Your participation and feedback are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Mark - I spoke to with both of these groups and ok'd them posting the surveys on the site. They are doing research for their MBA program. Please help them out if you are so inclined.

As I edited the above post they contacted me last week and I ok'd their posting of the surveys. There should be two...from two separate groups in the same MBA program.
Thanks!
Mark
Thanks!

Survey complete - wow this is much better than the door to door survey's we had to do too many years ago for one of my business classes!

+1. I had a problem with #18 because I have 2 MINIs and I could only select one.
ON a number of the questions the reason I chose MINI was that I could have BOTH of the choices: Safe and sporty, things like that.
Also, for the table in the middle, a "forced rank" would be more useful for the survey analysis... wa-ay too easy to answer that a LOT of the choices were "most important".
Good survey though, easy to use and should give some interesting data. Would be more useful to the surveyors, however, with the above changes as well as a more specific question list on competitive CARS, not just brands (hmm, yah, sure, I cross shopped the Subaru... Tribeca, not WRX or Legacy GT... sure...)

Done...and concur with Dixon in that I could have selected both options in a few of the either/or questons. I left the "what other vehicles did you consider" question blank -- it needed a "None" option. It was MINI or nothing for me.
