Looking for some Mini drivers in the Ft Walton Beach, Destin, Navarre, Pensacola area. I used to live in Navarre and moved up to Arkansas temporarily for college and am planning to move back down sometime next year. If anyone knows of any car clubs in the area that consist of Mini owners or anything of the sort, let me know.

 

Well, kinda. I'm from Vegas but here for several weeks on business. Unfortunately, my MINI is back home...

 

The local club is Panhandle MINIs and yes there are a number of MINIs in the area. We have members from Panama City to Pensacola. I’m in Ft Walton Beach along with a few other regular members. Where we plan most of our outings, we post and talk on the local Panhandle forum at www.sunshineminis.org . In fact a few of us are headed up to the Dragon this week.

Awesome sounds great. Around when and where do the Mini clubs usually meet up? Is it every Friday or Saturday night? When I lived down there I used to take my Prelude out to P-cola on a Saturday night to Bayfront then go watch some racing.

 

I'm in Crestview and now that I know about the sunshine site I'll be sure to check it out as well.

I'm seeing a lot more MINIs on Eglin where I work these days, maybe you're one, if so when you see a MINI coming to you flash your lights. Were all in traffic so we may miss some people, but flash anyway and you may get a flash back. If you do you will know you are one of the the true MINI People.

BTW Rhere is the Destin Christmas Parade nexet weekend and they would love to have you there.

 

Any word on the Mini dealership at Sandy Sansing BMW? My wife bought a car there last summer and they were supposed to get the Mini dealership up and running after the first of the year. That would be good news to us in LA (Lower Alabama).

Went by Sandy Sansing BMW (future Mini Dealer) No sign of any new building there unfortunately although they told me by June they would be up and running. They will sure have to move fast.
