Even aftermarket ones? I have a set of ski racks that strap to the gutter rails.

Do the roof racks leave marks/small dents/scratches on your roof or railings after you remove them?

A buddy has a white roof and yes there are marks in the paint where the rack sits. Not dents but marks. I have a vinyl cutter and I plan on cutting white vinyl where my rack will (someday) be mounted.

I noticed snow on our local ski hills today. Won't be long....

Here's a couple of pics with & w/o my snowboard. Let me know if you guys want to see better close-ups of the snowboard binding clearance on the moonroof and close-ups of the window clamps. I just bought these about a month ago and test drove them on freeway speeds going to work (40 miles, rnd trip). Lost about 3 mpg due to wind drag.
