Just saw a moss intake on an MC this weekend... Sounds nice but saw that it was rubbing underneath the hood... is this just a 1st generation flaw and has this been corrected? want to go ahead and take the plunge but don't want the rubbing issues..... anybody else have this problem? thanks.

 

I had the moss mini intake and it had the rubbing problem. I dont know about any generation changes but at first the moss mini intake came with a small filter then they started to include them a bigger filter instead which is the version I had. I'm not sure whether the moss intakes with the smaller filter are having the rubbing problem either.

One way to avoid the problem is to move the filter up the intake tube and try to angle it parallel or away from the hood. I emailed moss mini about the problem but they never replied.
