Need MC tire--what to order?

Stupid me, drove Rocky hard over a curb I didn't see--and WHAMMO, flat front right tire with a big old tear in it. And wouldn't you know I just had the tires rotated last week? That was for the 7500 mile point. *sigh*

Anyway, nobody in town stocks MINI tires, so since I can choose, I figure I should ask here for expert advice on what to order.

I drive a 2006 MC, nothing fancy, no modifications, strictly street driving though my boyfriend's trying to get me to the track. I'm a graduate student, so I am worried about money, but I'm willing to dig a little deeper if it's a good investment.

And if you have any advice . . . or words of consolation because I hurt my baby . . . please post it!

And what can I do with the old tire? I'm a reduce-reuse-recycle kinda gal.

K

Well, if you're running 15" tires, and you want a cost-effective way to get you by until it is time to replace all 4 tires at once...

Maybe you would consider one (or two) of these?

Oh, and sorry to hear about the damage. I too had a curb-related incident in the first year of owning my MC resulting in a flat and bent control arm.

LOL, the best comfort is always: You Are Not Alone! Thank you for the link and the words of comfort. I'll talk to my boyfriend when he gets home about your tires, since I'm all about not wasting and saving money. How soon could you get them shipped to me, if I do take them (I cannot imagine at that price that I'd just take one)?

I'm just so glad that my beau is cool with all my car issues. This is the third wound Rocky has sustained since July, and the second that I inflicted. I'm starting to question how well I drive--and I've always considered myself a good and safe driver!

That's a good question. I think the local UPS store is open on Saturdays. If so, I could ship as early as tomorrow morning.
