What's this Hydro Stuff I'm Hearing About
Maybe the wrong thread, but what is this Hydro that many people have mentioned?
I've got an AB/AB, so am always looking for new ways to avoid constant washing.
Thanks, Jas.

It's a wax-as-you-dry product. Come visit Detailing 101 and learn all about it!

You won't avoid washing, but the drying is much more interesting when you use it! As noted above there are many posts about it in the Detailing forum.

Anyone know about how much hydro you end up using per wash? How long does a bottle last?

You use more than you should usually. I'd say a bottle lasts maybe 7-10 washes. You'll find out more than you want to know in the Detailing 101 forum below. Enter at your own risK!

It takes maybe 2-4 spritzes per panel...so a bottle lasts a long time.

I'm trying to avoid the Detailing 101 forum at least until I get my MINI in fear that I might be overcome with a sudden urge to actually wash my current car.

Do Not Fear.
I loitered in D101 for quite a while before Blimey was delivered. I never washed my old car as a result.
Though I DID end up buying a whole garage full of detailing supplies before my MINI arrived...

That's the thing I'm really afraid of happening.

You're already interested so things are looking good. Hydro is great. It's also a gateway drug to Epic, Amigo, and a PC. I won't explain anything about those to get you to the D101 section and get you further hooked

He must be dead.
Just kidding. He probably doesn't watch the R56 forum... nor does he troll New Posts like some of us...
Edit: I just told him. Let's see how long it takes.

No unplanned accidents yet? Or do you use the rhythm method?

You don't practice "safe detailing"?

Wow! 22 posts in a few hours. Guess my question is answered. So it's Hydro and a Depo Provera shot and my MINI's good to go partying...

I don't troll for Hydro posts but I also don't always pay attention to where the post is when I pull up new posts button. Sorry to intrude
