Well I just got a call from the dealership, they found the problem, but its no longer covered by warranty. So I'm not going to get it fixed. I should be able to make this one, so I can buy that pulley from you Vic.

 

Chan, no worries. I can give you the pulley and belt and you can pay me later. Im in no rush to get the $. I just need to get a job like soon!

So whats wrong with the car ? I was actually thinkin of going down to Morristown Mini today to get a T-shirt and some small stuff

 

let me try to make it this time... hopefully with the classic.

 

There is some noise coming out at 1st gear from the clutch, and the dealership want over $2000 to fix the problem, so I decided to live with the noise. I can buy the clutch for $300 and attempt to do it myself or find a mechanic to do it cheaper.

Well Vic, I'm in school right now, so I'm not in Kearny until the weekend. Another meet would be nice, you guys can check out my new exhaust. It sounds so pretty.

 

I just got my mini in july and have been wanting to go to these meets you guys have been having but just havent had the time. Iam definetly comin to the next one tho and if your ever in Kearny maybe we can meet up I live in Kearny.

Just keep your eyes on this forum !!! I will be setting up another Coffee meet sometime next week. I get PM's sometimes from owners to "please email them" and let them know when the next meet is. But honestly, i cant keep up with the requests nor do i remember everyones email adress so its just easier for everyone to check here. That and here we can get some feedback and try to accomodate everyone and set up a date and time that will agree with most owners
