Picked up my Astro last week.

 

My 08 MCS Astro Black has been build and is awaiting transport. Any guesstimations on how much longer I will have to wait before I get the call from Mini Nashville that "BlackJack" has arrived? Loaded with everything except NAV and Leather. The break in period should be a cake walk compared to waiting for it to get here.

 

Im still waiting for mine. Should be in this weekend!

Just want to say hello as I am new AB Cooper S owner. My wife bought a HC Clubman a few weeks ago, and I never got to drive it. So I bought a Cooper S. We had been on-line under her signature "Hottie Chocolate" for awhile while her HC Clubman was on order, and have learned a great deal. We will post pictures soon.

LOVE this color. It's already dirty though....

 

i love the look of the car clean but my 2008 ab/w is 2 1/2 weeks old and im already getting sick of cleaning it. despite the amazing looks i think my next cooper will be any color but ab. the paint is soft as hell too. i have tons of scratches and i have it garaged. i have never taken it through a car wash either. mystique, wool mit and microfiber for me. soft paint dirt magnets are not popular long term. it is pretty when clean though!!!

 

i will post pics when i get my wheels on the car.
