You can buy them from a dealer (not cheap, in fact expensive).

Get the JCW Sound Kit if you own an R50. That way it won't seem so poser.
However, I hope you have an extra $1200 - $1500.

JCW wheel centercap stickers are dirt cheap, like $3 each.

I was going to buy the sound kit but then I was able to get a CAI for dirt cheap, from K&N, its good to have friends at the auto shop . And i already bought a complete exhaust system for my car in 05. All I can say is that it sound much better and is a little faster than the sound kit for $450 less. But then again I am slowly adding compoents from JCW to my car, interior and under the hood.

There are a couple vendors that sell the injecter cover too. it's a $100.00 pice of plastic. A good upgrade are the JCW door sills. They are about $80.00 and replace your peeling stock "Cooper" ones.

[Personal Opinion]
I don't know. If you're adding JCW badging without utilizing JCW performance upgrades, it almost seems poser.

I'm not talking about the JCW accessories (door sills, shift *****, etc). Those purely serve a purpose of just adding bling to your ride. But, somehow, the JCW badging seems different. They represent the caché of the performance upgrades.

But, hey - everybody is different and is free to mod as they choose. Good luck with your search.

im on the fence for this one.

i dont have enough money to buy an r53 so i got and r50 but i like the look of the r53 much better so i have been slowly adding parts to make it look like an r53. BUT...i would never put and S badge on it.

Now that I think about it, the car would look sexier without any badges, either JCW or S. To become a sleeper, it'll make people wonder what you have.

Even with the badges on I still get questioned from time to time. It's when I open the hood and point out the plate, then people are like. Oh cool....

A badge means little unless you have the tools to back it up.

I've been thinking about debadging or rebadging with "R50"

You are certainly one of the few who get to proudly sport that badge.

Even just having the SK on my 04, I felt iffy of sporting the badge. Now that the R56 JCW tuner kit is very similar to the R50 Sound Kit, I'm feeling more comfortable about my decision to have them.

I miss that kit and wish I could afford another for my 06.

You could take one of those JCW keychains the dealers sell & make a badge out of that, not sure if I agree with it though, but to each their own.

As the owner of a JCW MINI Cooper (non-S), I wouldn't like to see people adding JCW badges to non-JCW MINIs. I paid a lot of money for the tuning kit to have these side-grille badges:

Does the JCW Head, fit a R50? If so how much does it help?

Peeling? When I took delievery, mine had some film over them that was just to protect them during transit. Peeled that right off and it was a kickin' rad silver. Since then my harness that was in the door when I closed it and stilletos from the passengers has put a few scrapes in them

I paid $1350 for the JCW sound Kit and got what 5 HP. Not sure the badge means much.
